Who we are
Soul Agave Event Production ("Soul Agave", "we") provides event planning services and the planning platform used by our planners, our couples, and their guests. This policy explains what information we collect through our websites, client portals, and the wedding websites we host for our couples, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Guest information submitted through an RSVP form: name, the names of others in your party, email address, mobile phone number, attendance for each event, meal selections, and dietary or accessibility notes you choose to share.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to receive messages, the date and time of that agreement, and any later opt-out.
- Client and vendor information: contact details, event details, budgets, documents, and files uploaded to the planning platform.
- Technical information: basic log data such as browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the platform secure and working.
How we use it
- To record and manage your RSVP and share it with the couple and their planning team.
- To send event communications you asked for — RSVP confirmations, schedule and travel updates, and day-of reminders — by email and, if you consented, by text message.
- To plan and produce the event, including headcounts, seating, and catering needs.
- To operate, secure, and support the platform.
Text messaging and your mobile number
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers collected for text messaging are used only to send messages about the event you were invited to. We share them only with the service providers that deliver those messages on our behalf (our messaging and email carriers), and only for that purpose. Text-message consent is never transferred to any other party. See our Messaging Terms for message frequency, rates, and opt-out details.
Who we share information with
- The couple hosting the event and their planning team.
- Vendors who need it to deliver the event (for example a caterer receiving meal counts or a hotel receiving a rooming list).
- Service providers who run our infrastructure: hosting, database, email delivery, and SMS delivery. They may process information only on our instructions.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Retention and security
We keep event information for as long as needed to produce the event and to keep records for the couple, then delete or archive it. Access is restricted to authorized planners, the couple, and staff, and data is protected in transit and at rest.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts immediately.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any optional marketing email.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing events@soulagave.com. Note that removing your contact details may mean you no longer receive event updates.
Children
Our platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information except as provided by a parent or guardian in an RSVP (for example a child's name and meal choice).
Changes and contact
We will post any updates to this policy on this page with a new date. Questions? Email events@soulagave.com.
